People call this picturesque part of Ukraine the
land of ancient beeches, the green Bukovyna.
Bukovyna is famous for its fiery dances,
thought-provoking songs, exceptional carving,
bright ornaments of folk embroidery. The songs
of Stepan Sabadash flew into the world from the

long remember the mighty rustle of beech crowns
in the forest reserve of Tsetsyno in the uptown
of Chernivtsi, the scent of alpine herbs of the
highest mountain valley Yarovytsia, bearing the
memory of ancient Slavic history in its name;
and melodies - graceful and hearty, bright and
generous as the soul of this people.
Bykovyna's Carpathians attract travelers, who
strive for the unknown, the wind of journeys,
romanticism of near and far roads, mysterious
paths, the rustle of the Carpathian forest, the
greatness of diamond mountains, the beauty of
dusk and dawn. Everyone is dreaming of staying
in the midst of this beauty.
There are found over 60 springs of mineral
waters of "Izhevska", "Matsesta", "Borzhomi", "Naftusia"
- type in Chernivtsi, Brusnytsia, Chervona
Dibrova, Seliatyn, Vyzhnytsia. Climatic
conditions of Bukovyna are favorable for various
types of recreation, both in the winter and in
the summer. There have been created good
facilities for recreation and treatment.
